What is a credit, in real terms?
One credit ≈ one AI generation. A Hair Inspo preview is 1 credit (a full session of 3 previews = 3 credits). A minute of transcription is 1 credit. A simple agent task is 1–2 credits; a complex one might be 5–10. The exact cost is shown on each tool’s page before you start. 100 credits a year covers the usage most members actually do.
Do credits apply to all tools?
No. Credits cover AI work only — image edits, transcription, agents, anything that calls a model. The rest of the catalog (calculators, converters, generators, formatters — the long tail of single-purpose tools) is free for everyone, member or not, no credits required. Members just don’t see ads on those pages.
What about the agents? Are they Member-only?
Yes. Single-purpose Microapps stay free for everyone (Covenant Item 01). The agents — multi-step AI workers that do real, sustained tasks — are a different product category, available to Members only and metered by credits. A Microapp solves something in 30 seconds. An agent works for you for 5 minutes to an hour. Non-members get the tools; Members get the team.
What if I don’t use my credits?
They don’t roll over. We’d rather charge $99 than build a stockpile we owe you for years. If you didn’t use the membership, don’t renew. No hard feelings.
Can I cancel?
Any time. You keep every Microapp you’ve ever used. Cancellation doesn’t take anything away — it just stops the renewal.
Why not monthly?
Because annual filters for people who want to be here for the year, not a free-trial-then-churn audience. Monthly might come once the brand has more proof. For now: annual or not at all.
How does Microapp make money?
Three streams, all disclosed: memberships (this page, the primary one), sponsorships (a brand can sponsor a specific tool — always labeled “Sponsored by X”, never tied to your data), and affiliate links (if a tool recommends a service and you click through, the partner may pay us a referral — always disclosed). No data sales, no trackers, no retargeting pixels. Members never see ads regardless.
Where does the money go?
10% of revenue (not profit) goes to charity, off the top, audited and published quarterly. The rest pays for AI compute, hosting, and the team building this.
What if Microapp goes away?
The tools you’ve used are the tools you have. Cancel anytime is meaningless without that — so the deal is: the tools work even if we don’t.
