Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data Microapp collects, how we use it, and your rights.
1. What you put into a tool
Most Microapp tools run entirely in your browser. What you type, paste or upload into them never reaches our servers, and we can't see it. There are two exceptions. Tools that keep your work, like the To-Do List, save it to your account when you're signed in; section 5 covers that. And AI tools — the ones that write or analyze text for you, like the cover letter generator. To produce a result, they send what you entered to our AI service, which passes it to OpenAI. We don't use it to train anything, and OpenAI's API terms say OpenAI doesn't train its models on it. AI tools that handle personal text, like résumés and letters, keep nothing. A few AI tools whose input isn't personal, like a job title, keep the generated result for up to 7 days, so the same request comes back instantly.
2. Analytics
We use Microsoft Clarity to see how people use the site: where they click, how far they scroll, and where a page confuses them. Clarity records sessions with all page text hidden, and everything inside a tool is masked, so a recording never shows what you typed or pasted. It does see your browser, device, rough location and the pages you visit. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Clarity runs in a limited mode that sets no cookies. Microsoft's privacy statement covers what it does with this data: privacy.microsoft.com. We also use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and tools people use. 3. Ads
We show Google AdSense ads. Google uses cookies to serve them and may use your visits here and to other sites to choose which ads you see. You can turn off personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.
4. Accounts and membership
You don't need an account to use Microapp. If you create one, we store your email address, your ratings and reviews, your AI credit balance, and what your tools save (section 5). If you become a member, Stripe handles the payment; we never see or store your card number. If you submit a tool idea, we store the idea and, if you give it, your email so we can tell you when it ships. We don't sell any of this. To delete your account, email [email protected].
5. What your tools save
Some tools keep your work between visits: the To-Do List, the Markdown Editor, the Invoice Generator, the Clicker Counter, and your pinned and recently used tools. Signed out, they save in your browser on that device only, and nothing reaches us. Signed in, they also save it to your account in Supabase, so it's there on your other devices. Only you can read it; we don't look at it, sell it or use it for ads or training. It stays until you delete it. On your account page you can download all of it as one file or delete all of it, and deleting your account deletes it too. Signing out removes your copy from that browser.
6. Cookies
We set one session cookie when you're logged in. Microsoft Clarity sets its own analytics cookies (outside the EEA, UK and Switzerland), Google Analytics sets analytics cookies, and Google sets advertising cookies for the ads described above.
7. Services we use
Cloudflare (hosting, security and our AI service), Supabase (accounts, data storage and what your tools save), OpenAI (AI tools only), Stripe (payments), Google AdSense (ads), Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (analytics).
8. Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
