- 01 Never charge to use a Microapp. The tools stay free for everyone. Always.
- 02 Never use sign-up as a gate. Every tool that costs us nothing to run works the moment you arrive, with no account. AI tools give you a run or two first, then need an account to meter the compute.
- 03 Never mark up AI work. Credits cost what the compute costs — one credit is about $0.002 of model spend. Top-ups stay at cost plus a small operating markup. The membership fee buys the catalogue, not a margin on compute.
- 04 Never build a Pro tier. One membership. Monthly or yearly is a billing period, not a tier — same product, same credits. No upsells, no per-feature unlocks.
- 05 Never track you across the web. No third-party trackers, no retargeting pixels, no data sales. Sponsors and affiliates are allowed and disclosed — they pay for the placement, never for information about you.

What is a credit, in real terms?
One credit is about $0.002 of AI compute, and a tool costs what it actually costs to run. Most text tools — a summary, a rewrite, a subject-line test — are 1 credit. A long PDF translation is 3. A full bank statement is 8. Every tool shows its price before you start.
Do credits apply to all tools?
No. Credits cover AI work only — image edits, transcription, agents, anything that calls a model. The rest of the catalog (calculators, converters, generators, formatters — the long tail of single-purpose tools) is free for everyone, member or not, no credits required. Members just don’t see ads on those pages.
What about the agents? Are they Member-only?
Yes. Single-purpose Microapps stay free for everyone (Covenant Item 01). The agents — multi-step AI workers that do real, sustained tasks — are a different product category, available to Members only and metered by credits. A Microapp solves something in 30 seconds. An agent works for you for 5 minutes to an hour. Non-members get the tools; Members get the team.
What if I don’t use my credits?
Your monthly credits don’t roll over — we’d rather keep the price low than build a stockpile we owe you for years. Credits you buy as a top-up are different: those stay until you use them, and they never expire. If you didn’t use the membership, don’t renew. No hard feelings.
Can I cancel?
Any time. You keep every Microapp you’ve ever used. Cancellation doesn’t take anything away — it just stops the renewal.
Monthly or yearly?
Either. It’s the same membership, the same 1500 credits, the same everything — yearly just costs less. Take monthly if you’d rather decide again in a month.
How does Microapp make money?
Three streams, all disclosed: memberships (this page, the primary one), sponsorships (a brand can sponsor a specific tool — always labeled “Sponsored by X”, never tied to your data), and affiliate links (if a tool recommends a service and you click through, the partner may pay us a referral — always disclosed). No data sales, no trackers, no retargeting pixels. Members never see ads regardless.
Where does the money go?
10% of revenue (not profit) goes to charity, off the top, audited and published quarterly. The rest pays for AI compute, hosting, and the team building this.
What if Microapp goes away?
The tools you’ve used are the tools you have. Cancel anytime is meaningless without that — so the deal is: the tools work even if we don’t.
